[Lioness uttered the Christmas word so we are officially off to the holiday season, like it or not.
This is earlier than teh traditional US thanksgiving - but other countries have their own program.

So: what are you planning for Christmas/  Decoration?  Trip?  Caroling?  and of course FOOD!!]

We are going to the Christmas Pageant tomorrow morning. Nana said she doesn't mind the heat so much.

[for our out of the international loop readers, Nana is visiting L from Japan]

[mind if I use your post for a new christmas topic?]

For the first time in many years we will travel to Davis California for Christmas (my son lives there) and I will NOT have to cook!  I suppose we will have turkey - one of the weirdities of the US - almost the same celebration meal as for Thanksgiving a month before....

OMG X-mas presents! But I'm so already broke at the moment!  Sad

I don't dare list who I should buy presents for!

Apparently I'm getting some girly underwear as presents for x-mas from S.  Embarrassed

we don't have Thanks giving....thank goodness, but as Lioness said we have a Christmas pageant that is done on the 2nd Saturday of November and that is when Xmas festivities start....I got the girls from work to decorate the office, but wont do anything at home yet. I would like to put up my xmas lights on the outside of the house...we will get a real tree so that wont go up until two eeks before xmas, otherwise it wont last.
Our family does Christmas eve and it wont be the same this year without mum....Xmas day will be quiet as my children are with their father  so it will be Just V & Me.

I still don't know where we'll be for Christmas. Some years we go up to my grandparents' house, some we spend at dad's, and some we spend at mums.

I'm hoping it's at mum's, because dad's sucks and I don't want to have to take a week off work.

Well it's been decided. I'm going to Sydney/Canberra for Christmas/New Years with BF. We'll visit some of his relatives.
Now I just need to tell my family  Roll Eyes
