thats 5'9" and 143 lbs - yup you are on the slim side and just about perfect for a dance partner - well if I was 10% shorter

I am the same height and 143lbs, trying to get down to 140.....but as you get older you cant get too slim as it shows in your face....

Building muscle will actually make you heavier than the same volume of fat! Its a realization I had - I got rid of most of my body fat and then when I was doing a lot of dancing started to get heavier again!

5'11" I'm 169 lb - my ideal weight is 164 or so. Below that I get the facial bonyness problem QPO mentioned. However, I noticed that if I go low and then add some fat to my diet it seems to fill my face out before my body. So maybe there is a perfect timing for comps...

My problem is that I gain weight around my middle and butt, but lose it around my talents.

I release weight in my face first, then my middle and lastly the asset. I do talent exercises to keep the talents intact.
