Ideal weights

So, I was reading through the diet topic, and though a lot of people mention being at or over their ideal weight, a lot don't say that that is.
I was just wondering what's your ideal weight for your height, and whether that's for ballroom or everyday life.
I'm about 5'4", and would like to sit at about 60kg, though I'm currently at about 65. (132 and 143lbs respectively)

I'm nearly 5'11" and rather heavy boned (a plus at my age). I think my ideal weight is about 160.... maybe a bit less.

me 5'1" want to be at 130 to 140 (doctor says that is healthy)
according to the charts I should be 120 to 125 (to thin)
and well I was told by a dancer that if I want to be good and look good competiting I need to be around 110 to 120 (yeah NOT happening and quite honestly want to keep the talents I was given ya know
)

I'm about 5'8 and am 165, which is fine for me,definately not overweight but is a bit high for an ideal weight,maybe it's muscle

I am approximately six feet and weigh about 178 pounds. Thats twelve pounds too heavy for what I feel I want to be. However, I am old and need nourishment.

5'4", 115 at my lightest (but my face looks gaunt then, and I lose most of my um..."assets"); usually hover at 118-120, which I'm OK with. I am very solidly built, not frail looking at all.
If I get over 120 lbs, I do something about it.

Well I am 5'7" and am 65kg I flucuate a few pounds on either side of that. but I try to stay around 65 as I too end up looking gaunt in the face and with age.hmmm that does not look good.
anything heavier it is the hips and bottom that suffer

Yes, I would rather release a little asset and keep my talent.

This has actually been the one of the hardest parts of losing weight for me--what target weight to shoot for. I've never been small/thin/slender/whatever you want to call it, so I don't know what different weights look like on me, or how small it's even possible for me to get. According to the BMI charts I have to be under 154 lbs (about 70 kg) to be considered in the "normal" range, but I can't see myself being satisfied with anything over 145, but even that's up in the air since I don't know how I'd look at 145. Argh...
