OSB09 - drinks, dinners, meetings etc topic!!

I know of 1 couple that believes they will and quite honestly (I am biased here AND I know a few here and their opinions and respect them and even agree with them. BUT...) I want them to win and do their routine because I really really liked it.

So, we want to stay in the Hyatt?  That is fine with me, especially if we are doing something around 5-ish. 

Just sayin', though, there are plenty of nice places in Columbus to check out, if anyone gets a chance to leave the hotel.

It depends on timing.  The 'problem' with OSB is that there is always so much going on that its hard to find the couple of hours necessary to go off-site.  Does 4-6 pm friday work?  That would give us enough time to get to a restaurant and get back before the evenings highlights.  However, its during some of the world championship latin pro-am events...

the alternative is to just meet in the hyatt bar - they have terrific quesatillas and other bar food there - since then people can come and go as they please....

I would love to meet friday since we could then recognize each other and meet up one-on-one for the rest of the comp.

Not on this time - we are going to have a place for handouts though.. just have to get my act together....

Maybe Emmy meant a PDO table at the Hyatt bar so anyone who has the time can stop by and say 'hi'. 
I agree with pruthe, though, maybe staying close by so no one misses any events is a good idea.

Is anyone else going to be there tuesday, wednesday or thursday? I will be there from tuesday to sunday so if anyone wants to meet up early in the week ill be there

I suggest everyone take a copy of the PDO logo - stick it on the front of your program or something.  That might both get people curious and also would help us find each other - you can prop it up on the table or wear it on your head (OK I'm kidding)...

Eventually we will have to have PDO pins ....

Not to mention the smooth dance camps Friday afternoon 2:00-4:15. Perhaps a 4:45/5:00 meet up would be good??
Since not all of us check every day, are pm's in order?

Yes, we need a PM list. 
And, as I understand it, everyone should go to the smooth dance camp, even if you don't do smooth

Looks like I will not only be there from Wednesday-Sunday, but will be volunteering some.  I would love to meet as many PDO'ers as I can.
