hiya everyone. just introducing myself. i know some of you from another forum (good to see you!) and am looking forward to meeting those i do not know.

i've trained and competed pro-am in standard & latin (more standard than latin...), used to hit the salsa scene pretty heavy, and these days am exploring the john lindo WCS/hustle scene, which is a lot of fun. i've been on hiatus from ballroom training & competing all year, in order to make some personal and professional changes in my life, but i look forward to getting back to the BR eventually. i miss it keenly.

Welcome Samina....hope you will have a great time here.

I am sure you will find interesting subject here that you can use in the WCS/hustle scene as well as in BR, when you get back to that.

You have to fight through a lot of crap before you find your way up out of the toilet. Sometimes I think I have a good hold on the rim then I slip back in.  Each time I don't sink quite as deep though. - Rugby

yah, i've gone by "sam" for many years. "samina" predates my dance-foruming days. and i still use sam at panera when they ask for your name. Smiley
