Spider solitaire (built into windows) - I use it as a relaxation tool - I've played hundreds, maybe thousands of times.  It keeps me going because the win rate is about 1/8 so you feel you can win but never get bored with it.

only 1 in 8?; you're not very good at it then.

New *on sale* goodies. It's like waiting a city out and then conquering it while it sleeps.

Haphazardly jumbling my jewelry on my dresser so that it looks like pirate treasure.

Caramel. In all it's glorious forms.

Dark Chocolate.

A mixture of Caramel and Dark Chocolate.

Some Vanilla... but just a dash. For balance, and so it doesn't get it's feelings hurt.

When my *own* male *actually* flirts with me.

When my other male does.

When any m- wait, that's just sad.

Putting on brand-new dance shoes and putting them on the floor to dance in for the first time.

"Jinx!" moments.

When my own dance-kids actually respect my opinion, even after asking for it (that one's rare).

My ponies coming to the gate in the wee hours of the morning when I get in for a quick chat.

Sniffing my hands after dance class *blush*

When classes actually go well!

When a lesson ends and we're laughing instead of... otherwise.

ITS  a while since I played but 1 in 4 or 3 . How many games make it statistically relevant?

I would guess about 20-30.  The reason is one generally starts the counter after a win (which is 100% win rate of course) so it takes that many to average out that win.  However, really you need to do 100 or so due to the streakiness of the game (something that has always made me wonder if there are external influences.... Undecided )

hmm reminds of a sketch where a soul is welcomed to heaven with the words

" Congratulations; you have achieved your lifetime goal of winning 20,000 games of spider solitaire"

or something similar and the guy is none too pleased.

how do you know?  We all need to stand out at something and that may just be the 'guy's sole shot...

i know cos i listened to the sketch; actor A played St. Peter actor B played the guy. Tongue

like most of us I expect he would rather have been doing something else.

MAYBe i have a secret pleasure in being an awkward S.O.B.

more salacious than amour I suspect
