Have started doing some core training - at home as don't have time to get to pilates at the moment - think some of the problem with back movement is not being able to 'feel/find' the muscles that do the movement.

Yes, gyrokinesis was apparently developed to gain the benefits anywhere. Have seen vids, played with techniques. But if you can find a gyrotonic studio *with* a tower...wow.

What exactly is gyrotonics, if anyone here practices it?   I found some information about the person who originated the exercise, but can't find anything that actually describes the movements themselves.
