I don't mind a uni-sex change room, there's advantage of it - we don't need to pack things in 2 bags, my dress in one bag and DP's tail in another; I prefer one bag for all so we don't carry too many bags. Certainly not a problem for international comps.

In USA, we pack things differently, DP has his shoes and tail in one garment bag with side pockets for shoes and his accessories, and my dress and shoes in a different bag so we dont' have to scrumble and trying to separate things before entering each of our change rooms which is really annoying.

I absolutely agree with DSV that it’s good to have one change room so partners could be help each other. Sometimes I got frustrated when I was alone in change room, no other ladies around to help me zip up my dress or sometimes I have floats which are intricate need help to put them on correct way from back, etc. really prefer DP there to help.  Sometimes I just walk out of lady’s change room with dress unzipped at back and standing at the door of men’s change room for DP to come out to zip me up or just had to randomly grab any ladies in the hall way to ask help.
