From the topic's title i assumed this was a thread that directed people to the major informative through the partner dance area. So what was the reason for this thread in the first place?

did you read the first post?
well I did - and I wrote the part on what its about. And to be honest I'm not quite sure. Here it is again for your pdoodling pleasure:
[PDO has become large enough that it is easy to miss an interesting topic or post and sometimes you just want to comment on a topic without really participating in it. So this is the place for such discussion.

So to avoid the possibility of having a ballroom topics topics topic, here's a few inactive threads that I think are worth reviving:
Quicks and slows refer to body movement...not foot speed
Hitting the wall
Use of hands in smooth
Pick me - please?..... Pretty please??

The most beautiful part of the dance is often found in between the steps... and in the movement within the stillness.

Well, I wanted to make sure that the topic topic was topical, otherwise we might wind up having a ballroom topics topics topics topic. And as Douglas Adams once said, after the release of his fourth book in the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy, if there would be a fifth book: "A fifth book in a trilogy? No, that would be silly!"

This may as well be moved to Funstuff, and then when we've got a comprehensive list, moving it back here and stickying it.

but if we move it to funstuff it will never be filled in - excpet perhaps with absurdities, not that I mind absurdities and I suppose we could already be there

thanks zac - much appreciated... sometimes we do too much 'partner' and a bit too little 'dance'
Perhaps because it seems a few members are in flux right now...
