Companies on PDO

We are very pleased to have companies/associations/event organizers on PDO and encourage their membership. However, PDO is not here as a free advertising medium (though obviously you can get exposure). To keep things ballanced we need a 'good posting guideline'.

1. Links. You MAY put a link to your company in your signature line.
2. You MAY NOT put a link or your company name in the body of your message. Its redundant.
3. Messages MUST be on- point for the topic (informative) and MUST NOT just be about the company. Thus:

"We find a reliable way to stick on soles is with Glue-IT adhesive' is great
'Send your shoes to Soles Unlimited and we will fix them for you' is not.

Overt advertising will get you a warning and if that does not work a ban. PDO is for correspondence and exchange of information NOT to market your goods. You can, however, put an ad in our sales area but it has to be directly relevant to the topic in question. If there is no topic CONTACT ME do not just post.
