Competition results of PDOers

Congrats Q - from here it reads as terrific results.  Was the comp well attended?  We are having major issues here...

How so perhaps that could be discussed at another thread?

It was in context with your results - what was the competition like in your heats?

we had 9 Master couples for each style for the open, they created two heats but it could have been done in one although the floor would have been cramped. In the lower grades there are less, some couples could not dance this week-end so lose after the SA Open. But we desperately need to get more people on the floor especially Adults, we hve lost about 4 couples from on studio. For various different reasons, but it was not that long ago where they used to have five rounds for each age group, what happend and what are they going to do to fix  it

At our most recent comp here in Qld, the QADS at the Greek Club, which is quite usually quite well attended, we only had 2 juvenile couples! What's going on?

last night we were 5th in pro RS std among a semi final at holiday dance classic, thought could be better, but what the hey, still long way to go...

Just back from the Aussies.. which is the premo event for australian dancers. I have posted comments on the other thread about the event but I will list our results

We got to be australian champions in our Level 3 New Vogue. we now move to level 4 (pre champ?)
For our Standard we got Second in our Level 3

In the Open Section we did not get past the first round of the Modern but did two rounds of the New Vogue which was so exciting especially for people who are still technically level 3

considering our time off the floor we did very well and perhaps surprised some of the people close to us.

we have no further comps now till April

it did I was quite amazed and then inbetween two rounds i met for a massage and then it played up! he lossened the muscles and then I lost all support. but now I have time to try and get it stronger. back on the bike and also walking in water

Made it to the finals (placed 6th out of 10) of the Open Pro/Am Smooth Scholarship at Nashville Starz! That was the goal.. make the final! Yay! Competition was pretty stiff, but I felt really good about my progress and for only my 2nd competition in open... I feel like I learned a lot at this competition and am excited to get back into the studio for practice!! Met MC there as well!
