Certainly true for me - but I suppose we should qualify that a bit - some people DO learn aurally and I don't want to speak for them.

I think most people think of "experience" as a physical act.

This is what the Webster's say about "experience":

Experience = Apprehension or perception of an object, thought, emotion, or event through the senses or mind.

It does continue with other definitions after that but this one incorporate what I was looking for.
