It might be an idea to do some contemplating and ask yourself if you have been subconsciously programmed to get 2nd ever time. I have known several dancers that are programmed to get the result they get every time and it has gone on for years. They have gotten the same result every time they dance important competitions. Couples in front of them retire or split up and out of the blue comes a couple up from behind and beats them. Often couples are not even consciously aware they are programmed. They just don’t understand why they can’t move forward. If somebody told them they are programmed, they would just laugh at it. The fact that you are asking shows, that you are ready to make changes. Start you reprogramming today so that you are no longer get 2nd place. All the best with the first places that will soon come your way!!!

I believe we all can do this unconsciously in our life....but it is very hard for others to be open to this at times....because then they may superficially try and still get the same outcome not realizing that it is internal belief that must exude throughout mind and body. Hence having life coaches. my sister is going to be one now...

It's important to remember, also, that there is another side to the thought process...  what we call 'the sponsoring thought'. Rather than thinking "Second, again.", and being dismayed, one can say, "Yes! Second, still!", and look for what will move them ahead.

The most beautiful part of the dance is often found in between the steps... and in the movement within the stillness.

Yes - its easy to forget that the established stars are not the only challenge, there are the new upstarts too!
Right now I would kill to come second at a big comp...

er, figuratively speaking of course Grin
