Canadian comp site or Calendar

Is there any website we could check large comps in Canada? In USA we have sites such as NDCA.org, o2cm.com and Dance forum has comp calendar including some major college comps.

What are sites to check comps in Canada? We are searching for big ones (hopefully) in the size of Manhattan dancesport or Emerald or MAC, preferably at least qtr-final, or IDSF events.

Last few months of the year is super quite in USA, no major events except OSB, several US comp sites down so no way of viewing registration.

I remember last year there was an comp several weeks before OSB called Grand Ball, but dancesportinfo doesn’t provide comp site or date. Anyone know about this one?

One of the biggest is this weekend - Canadadancesport in Kingston - wondered if you would come actually.  Other than that there are only a few significant ones: Classique de quebec (Montreal march), Snowball classic (Vancouver Feb), Dancesport de montreal (July ?) and then the next tier - Crystal ball (Toronto, April ), Niagara Premiere (Jan), Maple Leaf (Nov) etc.

seems to be similar size for amateur as Crystal leaf. bigger than any other ones.

but can't find website, seems to be very big last year, but can't find results regarding this comp for any other year besides 2008.

Any idea?

PY attendance for La Classique, very interesting, small amatuer attendance compared to Rising Star amateur & IDSF.

Check this site, it will tell you when and where all the sanctioned competitions are and there is also a list of unsanctioned ones too.

Is there one major amateur comp (not sure if IDSF) in Canada for weekend Nov 13-15? One week before Ohio Star Ball. Someone mentioned to me but can't seem to be able to figure out which one.

We have the maple leaf 31st-1st in toronto - should be a nice comp its run by Ann Harding and has been gaining cred each year since it started.  I don't know about others before OSB.

We figured out, the one before OSB is Grand ball at Vancouver, very nice ballroom, but too expensive to go. Airfare like $600 per person, and since it's one week before ohio, it's stressful to travel so far all the way, so we won't go. It's a nice comp though, last year 3 rounds.

wish this one could be mid december, where our comp schedule more empty; after Big Apple Dancesport challenge in 12/5, we have a big gap on our comp calendar, since next one would be in January like UK open or MAC

What about the yuletide ball in DC (usually Dec 31st/1st)?  Is that too far - its not big but it used to be a lot of fun....

Yuletide small for champ am, last year and the year before maybe 1 or 2 champ std couples, it's new year eve,, guess most of people prefer to have new year eve dinner or celebration with family.
