Well, can't you avoid whichever party will be gloating?  I'd go with going to the bar after the Vols lose and avoiding X.

Avoiding X might be easier than I think.  The school he works for is having a lot of night games early in the season for some reason.  Which is nice that I don't have to hear him talk about FL, but not so nice that it means he has to be at the games instead of coming to the studio on Saturday nights so we can dance with him.
