For all you (American) football fans out there!

What team(s) do you follow?  Any particular reason why?  Rant/rave/cuss/praise them here!

Me, currently: want to smack around the Clemson defense.  2nd game of the season against GA Tech.  Tech's managed to score 3 separate touchdowns in the first 12:30 of the game.  And all because Clemson's apparently asleep on the field.  And the wide receivers are all screwups.

Oy vey.  *headsmack*

I believe Miss MC has ulterior motives.   Wink

Well, our Titans lost a heartbreaker last night, but they did look pretty good.

Yeah, I can't even say that Pittsburgh really deserved the win either.  I don't have a stake in either team, but I do like Big Ben, so I was leaning more their way last night (sorry C)

I cheer for the Bucs and I go through an annual exercise in frustration with the Bills.  Luckily, for the second year in a row, I have someone who shares that exercise with me. Tongue

My last boyfriend used to complain about becoming a football widow.  Then again, my football season starts in June. Wink

Yep. Cheesy After this season's over and my baby's done, I will cease to care about Clemson.  And I don't give a rat's tuchus about the NFL.  I only feel the need to be slightly informed about the Titans since, well, I live in Nashville and almost everybody I know is obsessed with them.

Clemson lost a heartbreaker last night too.  Tech rolled right over them in the first half, but then Clemson apparently woke up after their little nap at halftime, rallied, and almost won (27 unanswered points!).  Then they lost by a field goal. Roll Eyes

So, sorry, MC, but you know how I feel about Clemson.
However, Carolina lost a heart breaker to Georgia and don't even get me started about Ohio State.

However, tomorrow is another day!

I think my C put it best in response to the game on Monday night:

"I was on cloud nine for 56 minutes.  Then I realized that, yes, I am a Bills fan and, yes, I must suffer."

LOL!  The first 30 minutes of the Clemson-GA Tech game made Clemson fans suffer.  They better redeem themselves this week!

Those of us who are long suffering Carolina fans know this is the normal state of things.

That too.  So much for the miracle-worker Spurrier, right?  Of course, if Clemson keeps up like this, that showdown come my birthday could get pretty interesting...

Let's not get ahead of the season.  Garcia has shown great improvement and the defense is solid.  I predict a win over Tennessee. Of course, that's not saying much.

Oy vey.  If they beat Tennessee, remind me not to shout it from the rooftops.  I could get lynched. Wink

Don't worry about it.  I predict some sorry Vols after the slaughter...I mean, game, with Florida this weekend.  Kiffen is an idiot!  That is all I have to say about that!

There's going to be no good outcome to that came for me.  Florida wins, I get to hear X gloating (he went to FL).  Tennessee wins, I get to hear "Rocky Top" 40 times a night when I go to Drummer Boy's bar.  Lucky me. Roll Eyes
