this weekend we cleared 40K but its been a slow go - very quiet indeed...

life is very busy at the moment and people have to train...lots of comps down under....but would be interesting to hear from others why they think they are not able to be here often

always - well, not alway the sameone.  I sent the last one to nature neurosci - its an old fashioned gorgeous experiment - minimal data, but (I think) an undeniable finding.  but thats out of fashion right now, they would rather you had umpteen lines of evidence each of which was half baked as if somehow that gives you security.  So I expect the paper will either not be reviewed at all or if it actually goes out it will rejected simply because people are uncomfortable with elegant science...
