Chicago Downtown and Chicago North here. Take lessons and compete out of the one, just crash some of parties (and friends and family are all working or taking lessons at) the second.

Heh, I'm just goingt o be happy if I can make it to ohio this year. esp since I already paid for hotel, so would hait to waste that now.
Thinking I might try to hit orlando and vegas nationals next year though. or at least one of them, since AAC isn't going to be here anymore.

Lots of good people up there. Milwaukee region is ALMOST as good as Chicago.

we have a FADS seminar, which we have to attend.
i know that a students from a FADS west side new york are great, and our students of course.
i haven't saw a students from chicago or milwaukee.

You'll definitely like the milwaukee folk. Least, few I've met I do, and I know my friends like all of them up there. Ilya and Mandy V. esp, but everyone up there. Great bunch of rhythm pros too. ALmost as good as ones down here in Chicago.

ah, then you should ahve been there. As I was telling buddy teacher (used to compete am latin), there was no one competing pro latin at AAC, so anyone with a partner could have won it.
only two couples competing standard too.
