There are a couple others on the Idlewild soundtrack that are quicksteps too. Have you listened to the whole album? Actually, my favorite QS of all time is from that movie (well, the soundtrack).

I have the soundtrack, but hadn't listened to it in a while. The song just popped up on my iPod as I was shuffling through everything that was on it. It made me happy.
What's your favourite, MC?

I adore "Call The Law," but "PJ and Rooster" (if you can edit out the profanity) makes a good one too.

these are really neat - I like to try to spin the tune in my head and then see if I can match the dance rhytms. I suppose for some people that is easy...

And Moondance by any number of artists makes a nice foxtrot, if a little fast. I keep hearing it at work.

I was listening to Hayley Westenra - Dark Waltz the other day and realized it would make an interesting Argentine Waltz. It's slow, so stepping primarily on the 1 would take quite a bit of expression to pull off. But since you can step to anything with AT/Vals, you could instead step to the melody or strings.

Interesting. Didn't know there's an argentine waltz. What's the difference?

actually its argentine tango just danced at 3/4 time rather than 2/4. Its actually quite nice. We did AT for about a year but couldn't get out of the ballroom feel so ended up giving up. mm
