I am very pleased to announce our moderating team.

Rugby has very kindly agreed to take on the Global Moderator role.  She will supervise content together with me and will be the primary resource for the other moderators.

Emeralddancer, Malakawa and QPO have also agreed to be Moderators.  They will specialize in different areas (or time zones) on the forum.  We will add new mods as needbe - if anyone is interested please do contact me directly.

Thanks again to everyone for participating and helping.  I trust you all know that this is all voluntary - there is no financial or other advantage (er, quite the contrary!!).

A bit of a change in our staff.  Rugby has stepped down as the Global Mod but will (thankfully) carry on in a regular moderator role and Cornutt has generously agreed to take on the Global Moderator role.

I just want to thank Rugby for her enthusiasm and contributions during our first few weeks and welcome Cornutt to the Mod-leading role.

Thanks guys - I hope you will both continue to tell me when I'm being an idiot to much

Recently there have been a few rumblings on PDO because of changes (editing) that was done a bit in haste.  The simple reason for this is that I have been managing all the administration of PDO by myself for a while because the other admins have been tied up with a thing called 'life' - though the notion that there is life outside PDO seems rather wierd!!

Obviously life comes first and I wish my colleagues here only the very best in their attempts to stay ahead of it!   But in order to improve our service here (and forum admin really is a service task) I have made a few changes that will hopefully lighten the load.

The main ones are that Cornutt has kindly agreed to help with admin and Malakawa has agreed to take on the Global Moderator role.  So the current admin team at PDO is as follows:

Thanks for all the help and spirit here.  We are still an 'open' forum and though you may not always agree with how the place is run, at least everyone does have a say.  Please bear with us as we settle the new team in - and also if things happen that are not to your liking - we are only trying to help.

Just want to post a thanks to Cornutt who is doing the bulk of the hard-core admin - taking care of the board with respect to backups and, most important, protecting us from hackers and spammers.

Since its behind-the-scenes if you are not a mod you would not know that anything is going on so I wanted to be sure everyone had some incling.

PDO new mods.

I am very pleased to announce that Lioness and Zac have agreed to join the PDO Moderator pool.  Both are long term members of the forum and have already contributed a lot with posts, ideas and, well, being there! 

A big thanks to both for supporting the forum and I anticipate that both will bring new perspectives and ideas to our continued success and growth.

I'm pleased to announce that we have a new admin volunteer.  You will probably not even see him though - his sign on is AdminJ and he will not be posting on the forum just helping me run it.  However, I just want you to be aware just in case this mysterious name appears somewhere!
