They've already started putting up heat lists, so you can see if there are other people you know you compete against registered for your events (don't have heat lists up per event, just per dancer)

wow.  I'm too late for the regular entry so I suppose there would be a late fee.  But first I have to get hold of my pro!!  He's still returning from NY...

You need to have faith in my dance nerdiness/obsession. 

It says 2008, but it's definitely 2009.  Since i can pick at least three couples listed there for pro heats that didn't exist in 2008.  In fact female half of one of them was still a student in 2008, and guy was competing with his old partner then (who also has a new pro partner ). 

So those heat lists are definitely 2009

Now that I can't help on.  Unless you want to compile a list of possible competitors so I can call them and ask why they're not competing.

Works for me.  While I'm at it, might as well get the other couples I want there for pro showdance too.

Just attended one day of the comp (there's still all of tomorrow and sunday morning).  But what I saw was a very sweet competition - mid size, lots of American style, less but still significant Interanational but strongest in the older age groups.  Loved the showcases - both pro and pro/am - and loved the computerization - in many cases (at least in the evening) a heat was run and the results announced before the couples left the floor.  I wouldn't be surprised if the results are posted within a week.

Nice locale, interesting spectrum of judges - I will certainly think seriously about coming back next year.

I don't think so - the heat lists are there of course but the results are I think from last year.  Least i can't find myself!
