Can anyone give me an easy way to take a segment form a DVD (I assume its in a standard format, a commercial competition tape) and upload it on utube?

I use app called MPEG Streamclip for Windows.  Free app, watch through video to pick where youw ant start and end to be, put those in, and extract the video.  Saves to AVI, then can upload that to youtube.

I konw I've seen a mention of a private video thread before, but quick search doesn't pull it up.  Is the ballroom video thread though.

And I'm keeping my expectations very reasonble.  I don't expect you two to be as good as Viktor and Anna, just expect you to pull a close second.  Wink

Phew, thats a relief, for a moment I thought you were going to say Luca and Lorraine...

I decided to do a bit of surgery: moved a topic which has TTD's comp tape to the Competition board so that we can get all of them in the right place with the comps themselves.

ETP--that program you posted didn't work for me.  When I went to the website, the file download was a zip file, but when I unzipped it and tried to open the program, I couldn't get it to work.  Help please!

Busy day at work here, but I'll take a look as soon as i get a chance, Musicchica.

one possibility is that I think this application had some quirks with quiktime,w hich are documented on the site in the installation instructions.  But if you can't figure it out, i will look later.

I didn't actually go to site or anything this time, just copied link from message I'd sent someone else who asked me same question.
