the old language has some superiorities to English - for example in the naming of relatives. You know exactly where they are in the family tree - english gets lost in just one step from the parent.
For example If I say 'my aunt' you have no idea if its my father' or mother's sister...

That is very true. It is very clear where they all belong and what branches they sit on
. Maybe the English wanted to fool the enemy and the old country was so gullible that they believed nobody could harm them.

I used to do that a lot L - but I found a way to put it of...
v-e-r-y- heavy today... sore throat .... and lots to do....

Not too good today...don't have any voice at all. And for someone who places such high importance on talking and singing, that's a very bad thing. The rest of the flu isn't fun either, but the no voice thing is getting to me the most!
