I'm here. Not much to report as I have not been able to dance much. Just getting back into it but earlier than I should. I was so very much wanting to compete at the Open in October but I still cannot dance the Quickstep anywhere up to time nor the V. W for more than one round. Very frustrating since I suffered for a year and a half with the right Achilles tear to have it good for two weeks and then do in the other. It's been about 9 months now though a fellow competitior who specializes in sports injury gave me some excercises that will really help me out. Hopefully November's comp.
Injuries are a terrible thing and take much longer to recover than we would like to think....hence finding V a dance partner..... |

well nice to see you around. perhaps you can give some of your reflection on the direction of dance. I recently re-watched a tape of this years Blackpool and the comments were not that flattering about the connection with dancers in general. I wonder how this can be rectified if at all. |
