Aha! DeviantArt has made it possible to have an artists portfolio for each member, so
here
is mine.

Your work is beautiful L. Thanks for sharing - why not put a link to your photos as your sig? You could do the same in a bloggy spot

Thanks, and that's a good idea. I have my dA page as my website, but I don't think anyone actually looks at that.
As for blogs...I'm not so good with them. I run out of things to say.

each to tehir own - but I just blog when I feel like it - usually when I'm relaxed and ideas pop into my head. The point is not to be precious but to just be honest with what you are feeling at that time

I've got my eye on the Nikon D90 or D5000 but don't have the $$$ right now and, no, stopping dance lessons for awhile is NOT an option...

Yea, the price tag on the camera I want to buy can get me a year worth of dance lessons.

hey, a camera captures a past, a lesson creates a future... which is more important to you?

That is very interesting thought...hmmm...a difficult one.
I'm tempted to say past, and it's the first thing that came into my mind. What about you?

One could argue that a camera captures the present.

It depends on your definition of the present. Strictly speaking, I guess the present is only a nanosecond in length, or less. Everything is either the past or future. So, how does one really live in the present?
