At 1:15 is anyone able to tell me the names of the steps couple 200 do ater their pivot to promenade, it would be a great help as i would like to do it in my gold waltz routine. If anyone else needs specific names of steps through youtube videos and such i think we should make this thread the place to ask

[cute idea - I hope it catches on. However, perhaps we should move it somewhere where anyone can join in - in general partner dance perhaps? Else it may hardly ever get used.... is that OK z?]

OK Zac,
This is my take on those steps.
Samefoot lunge, Recover to leg elevation, Kick (standard), Samefoot Lunge, Reverse Pivot to P.P., Curving Three Step,
1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 (L&) 1 2 3 1 2 & 3
Viennese Cross (4 - 6 of Reverse Turn w/lock ending), Right Foot Lunge, Recover, Right Foot Lunge
1 2 & 3 1 2 3 1 2 3

we may have discussed this before Zac, but do you not have a limited step choice in gold? If so, is the curving three legal?
If we do an illegal step we get warned or even disqualified.

no illegal steps, it's all up to your personal preference

The Curving Three Step is a Gold Step in the IDTA.
You need to check what society they allow in Australia. In England they use both. I some continental European countries they allow only the IDTA. You would be able to dance some more steps if they allow both of the societies.

Sorry, didn't read your answer before answering the previous post. I would suggest to not go totally over board and do some steps that you already know you dance well.

I can see the danger of medallist trying to "copy" figures taken from the British Open Championships.
Anyone else with me?

Depends, a lot of the highest level choreography is actually the simplest. Old-pro copied a sice of our QS routine from the world champions - the steps themselves were not difficult .... OTOH you could surely come a cropper! Presumably one would get one's coach to vet any new sequences - thats what we do now...

they are such fun to watch, so together and musical - and their footwork is exceptional but I wish she would relax a bit more..
Looking at another, look what happens at 33 sec...
