we recently had a incident where we cot out of time in a NV dance. it goes over a 32-36 bar routine. if you find yourself out of time do you stop as soon as you notice or do you keep going and try to start on the next sequence in time? Where do you try to make the correction Roll Eyes

Its bad enough in a standard routine but I hadn't thought of that issue for NV.  I suppose getting out of time is an automatic scratch - the judges could hardly miss it with only one couple doing their own thing!

If you notice you are out of time the best thing to do is to stop but keep your posture and poise. If you stand still with good posture and poise the judge will very likely look back once you are in movement again if there is time left in your heat to do so.
