"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
"I'm going back to Charleston, back where I belong. I'm through with everything here. I want peace. I want to see if somewhere there isn't something left in life of charm and grace." Ahhhh, truer words were never spoken. Charleston simply IS charm and grace.

In other news, I'm STILL the only primary Latin dancer on the forum.
Guess I need to recruit! Come on, people! Latin's fun!

I used to only do Latin. Then I was seduced by the Dark Side!
Now I enjoy dancing Standard more, but I'm trying to bring Latin up to the same level.

Latin IS the Dark Side for me. I thought I was a Standard dancer for a while. I most decidedly am NOT.

so you're doing both, both, both and both
I hope you've found our club dance area then - it needs a bit of TLC

Hey, I do a lot of rhythm. That sort of counts.
And unlike some male "rhythm" dancers, I try to cover the spectrum, instead of just doing primarily swing. (Although I do like me some WCS!)

If they only dance swing, would they even be considered Rhythm dancers?
And as for WCS... *scoots as C's hand whisks by her bottom*

Hey, I've improved that move! As you go by, I swing my hand, but then I slap myself in the leg. SMACK!

Mmm-hmmm. *squinty eyebrows*
On the other hand, there's somebody else that you could teach that move to.

I sorta-kinda do all 4. Well, I have started out doing smooth and rhythm, then I have dropped rhythm and was doing smooth and standard for a while, and now I mainly work on those two, but also trying to bring rhythm and latin up to speed. One of the comps I want to do offers closed 10 dance and 9 dance events, and I would like to do them next time we do that comp. I would say that standard is my favorite style, though, if I had to pick just one, I would have picked that.
