I am breaking this off of another thread ....

Ok what Night Club Line Dances are BIG in your areas?

Here every friday and saturday night, no matter what bar/club you step into these following ones are danced. (AND WHICH DO YOU DANCE OR KNOW?)

Cha Cha Slide (so not the cha cha Wink

)
Booty Call
Cupid Shuffle
Stroke It (its a song and a dance Roll Eyes

)

Lesser knows only reserved for weddings
Marcarena
Electric Slide

Known but only on request.

I do the ones that are played ALL the time. (but I have a huge habit of spicing them up quite a bit just so I stand out from everyone else on the dance floor)

But I am familiar and know how to do ALL of these dances.

I don't know any of these, except the Macarena.

At my studio we do:
Grease Lightning (my fav!!)
Disco Mambo
Nutbush
Salsa line dance (don't know its actual name)
Disco Fever

Cupid (so glad you wrote it properly) Shuffle and Electric Slide are the most popular, followed by cha-cha slide, and Sex on the Beach or something. Only last night did I figure out the Cupid Shuffle. Thank goodness for Standard.

Samba line dance is growing in popularity- not the weirdo Arthur Murray one, but the forward/back basic, bota fogo, volta, ad lib one.
