Just a few observations, based on my life in the past ~12 hours.

  • Your pro sends you to "the stripper store" (his words) to buy costumes for a showdance.
  • You steal costume ideas--and dance moves--from drag queens.
  • You can look at said drag queens' costumes and know by sight that those are Swarovski crystal rhinestones on those costumes (extra points if you can guess the size and/or color!)

Every time you need to get through a tight space you either lock or chasse.
At work you hear a song that you dance to, and sit there thinking 'must. not. dance. in. deli' and then do it anyway.

You're waiting for an elevator and you catch yourself doing a back spot turn.

you almost have an apocalyptic fit over such names as Max, Andrei, Garry, or Elena, Ieva, Karina and your friends are like who?!

On the flip side...when your (non-dancing) friends recognize those names too and freak out as much as you do!

*cough* True story...

Thanks! Grin

There's a couple pics of Jonathan Roberts flirting with one of my best friends on my FB, from our December showcase.  She was hooked after that!

You are in a meeting at work and start wondering how the guy giving the presentation would look in a tail suit and if he is the right height.  Sigh.
