don't understand - what is 'o's' ? Did you clean out the bag or keep it intact?

The spelling missed some of the O's.
I actually threw the bag out. The shoes were way too small. I don't think I will need a satin shoe that is too small now. They fit when I was weighed around 50kg and some 20 years ago. If I were to ever need a satin shoe again then I would have to order a bigger size anyway. I already have a lot of stuff that will remind me of the past I don't need shoes for that.

Makes sense - it just seemed like a neat time capsule...
I have a hard time throwing things out ... too much of a romantic

I guess I was always trained that if you haven't used a piece of clothing for 2 years then it time to give it to somebody that will use it. In my family we have always been trained to not get attached to things. So they just had to go.

I tend to delude myself into thinking I am going to wear it sometime. I grew up with very little clothing so have a hard time disposing of anything that is not worn out...

I recently cleaned out my wardrobe...gave away 2 bags of clothes, and I still can't really fit everything in there.
However, none of the clothes are in my shoe bag, so...

OK confess: did you?
Depends on the circumstances - if you found it when there was something else to eat, then no but...

I have a gym bag with a separate compartment for shoes. In the shoe section: Shoes, shoe brush, sneaker balls. Other compartment: Everything I own, but especially handtowels and extra t-shirts for sweat.
