I have yet to understand why I have so much trouble with socks, the amount of non pairs I have to create...where to do they go. I bought V some new socks and already I could not find one for a week after they entered the wash...but surprise I found it today inside the quilt cover.  How did it get in there you say. I think that when it went into the dryer it entangled on the inside of the cover. This story has a happy ending, but I still have another four socks looking for a partner and I have no Idea where they are!  Undecided

well I know someone who because they loose socks, now deliberately wears socks of different  colours and styles just to be different.

Mine are all black.  I could wear all the socks without partners, but they are all different styles and lengths.  Now, that'd be interesting!

We have an odd socks box. It sits in our loungeroom and whenever we find a sock that has come out of the wash without a pair we put it in there. Every so often we go through the box and see whether any pairs have been found.

That's a good idea!

Also, don't you roll the same pair of socks into 1 ball? I do that, sometimes I tie a knot too!

I do when I'm not feeling lazy. Otherwise they just get thrown into my sock drawer and it takes a lot longer to put on my shoes in the morning.

One sock of one of my nicer pairs of dress socks turned up missing back before Christmas.  I was highly annoyed about it because I hadn't had those socks for very long.  I put the odd sock in the odd-socks place in my dresser, hoping its mate would turn up in the next few wash loads, but it didn't.

Months later, I'm pulling out shoes to wear for an exhibition routine.  I get out my patent leathers, open the box, and... lo and behold, the missing sock is in one of them.   Roll Eyes
