Great question MK Smiley

Lets see. Hmmm.  Well elise - that sort of sprang to mind partially because its my name and partially because,,,,, because,,,,, well maybe wholly becaues its my name.  Yes thats it!!

And -dance - thats partially because thats what I do and why I'm on here.  OK its wholly too.

Now the only question is why is it elisedance and not danceelise.  Well.  The former sounds like a new craze - the elisedance which is a problem.  Howeve,r the latter would put two 'e's together and that would be confusing since I already have that.  And it sounds like an instruction - 'go, danceelise!'.  So after much consternation I went with elisedance.

To be honest, it was the first thing that came into my head...
hehe - did I really write that!

Very cool.  Thanks for sharing everyone.   Smiley

Mine's obvious.  Rising from the figurative ashes in 2013. I have to say that, given all that's happened in the past couple of days, I am off to a fine start. Smiley
wanna spill? Undecided

Can't share everything, but new job, moving house and starting a business are three components. That and a lot of self-examination.  All very stressful in a good way.

Got the new job within five days of writing my first resume in years, btw.  Very good for the old ego.*grin*

congrats Smiley  You've certainly stacked the life-stressors - except I'm glad not to see health included.  That (of yourself or - sometimes even more of a loved one) may be the worst of all... Undecided

Very cool. Smiley

I find it interesting that so many people use the same username in multiple places online.  Kinda defeats the whole anonymity thing, not?

Hmm. I don't think it's necessarily about a desire to hide stuff.  I think it can be about desire for privacy, in a medium which exposes one to potentially millions of viewers.   Everybody has a different level of what they're comfortable with. *shrug*

... and sometimes you want to keep one occupation separate from another.  I'm not very good at that as all my IDs start with elise.. Cheesy

I used to be very, very forthcoming with personal information until one time, about ten years ago, that I posted something in error (I can't remember what -- a typo? a misstatement?)  When  I went back to correct myself less than a minute later, someone had already quoted me and posted a nasty retort, even though the forum stats said there was virtually no one online at the time.

That's when I realized that the internet is PUBLIC.  Everything I type is available to anyone with a computer and an internet connection.  That's when privacy became more important to me.  It's not about hiding.  It's about being circumspect about what I share with total and complete strangers.

Yes I have always been cautious about what I posted in the internet. I only ever post things that I know I would say to someones face......I roll my yeys at a few things I have seen and even my children and have told them to remove thing pronto!
