Hi, guys,

I wanted to create a cd with old rock songs to play in the studio. But it has to be for dancing.

Recommendations???

some of Abba Songs are good, perhaps for tango and a cha cha cha, I think they also have a rumba in there. I will think of the names and get back to you

I don't know if you can call it rock but Annie Lennox's "Why" is a fantastic rumba.  We have used it in a few demos and people have even cried.  Then again, perhaps it was our dancing.  Cry

there is a great variety of latin music in the beatles tunes. right now I cant think of one but I bet some of the "older" pdo'ers could name a vew

Old rock songs eh! so what era do you consider old? and there are some classic rock songs but as they are done by country artists they consider them country ie one of the frist rockers was the man in black Johnny Cash etc and then there are some blues stuff. I will put together a list and see what you think  Wink
