And we are lucky that when we do go social dancing people come up and say how they enjoy to watch us dance. Our roots are from social dancing and if we can motivate others to move to self improvement all the better I say.
I got a few of those, too, when I visited my former partner and danced over there. I don't mean that this fit you, or saying that you aren't good (because we all know that you are good

) - but I was chatting with my former partner on that, and she said that it tells more of the community than the dancers (us), in the sense that when we were back with our team, we were nothing out of ordinary. No one came to tell us that we looked good, blahblahblah. But when we danced at her place, We received several praises.
After dancing with her, I headed back to Madison to watch my team's showcase, and I felt a bit depressed because I realized how true the statement was for us.
