I've done this 2x before now.....
Bronze Latin at 7:30 ( I didn't make it for the 7 a.m. start) to watch a friend
And, I picked up and delievered the kids dancing at the Arnold.  Think I picked them up at 6 a.m.
For Emmy, I will happily get up at 4!  However, I will need lots of coffee that morning, so Mr. Ermis had best be staying away from me unless he wants coffee on his suit!

Ben will probably also be dancing at 7am...the man's a marvel.

Oh yay! So it's decided I am definitely going to OSB this year!! So excited y'all!! It has always been my dream competition but i've never been able to go!! But I can this year.... *PARTAAAAAY* lol just kidding.... serious competitive focus.... oh who am i kidding? I'm to excited already to even act calm and dignified lol! I can't wait to see all of you there!

Perhaps in October a new and seperte thread could start for people to let the forum  people know who will be there and which divisions.
Or how about a meet-up before things get really rolling?

I like the idea of a mid or near end of week meetup as its most likely that we can get everyone - but obviously open to suggetions either way....

Ok all .... it looks as if as of right now. OSB will be my first comp.
Newcomer and pre-bronze.

1. I am NOT scared. Actually the opposit and excited about it.
2. I NEED my friends from here on PDO ... to kindly be up and support me and cheer me on. BECAUSE this will be my first comp and it is so far away, my family and friends from here in Baltimore will not be able to attend. (I mean I did have like over 35 people at my first showcase. LOL) so any friends from here if ya want to get up early on a saturday morning to help out a fellow member MUCH appreciated! 
3. I WILL be prepared to dance and execute ALL dances with proper technique, grace and beauty (while actually being the $%^&# ... per DSVs words )
4. I WILL dance and place. My goal ... 1st in ALL 10 of my single dances.
5. I will let go of the last 40 pounds to look GREAT on the dance floor.
6. My dress (once stoned), hair and makeup will be stunning.
7. To walk out on that floor with confidence, beauty, grace, and be at ease
8. I WILL HAVE FUN!!!!!!

I figured if I (from this very second on) think positively, train harder, practice more, and put out what it is I desire to achieve, then I believe 100% I will accomplish these goals.

From this very moment I will be OSB mode all the way. Meaning as I go to lessons, to walk on that floor as if I am at OSB. To dance as if I am at OSB. ETC........

(though they may get crushed from running up to you squealing with utter delight and possibly attacking you with a monster hug because well it WILL be the first time I am meeting you!!! can ya handle it?)

I wish I could be there for you at your first competition I will have my sister be there with you I will tell her how to best support you I will be thinking of you and be with you in spirit Way to go EM....you are on your way to success.
