yes, I see - in a smaller market you would have fewer options.
maybe you could just do latin with other coach? at least that way you're not so long off the competitive circuit

OK its official I WILL be at the competition - just not competing
I've bought tickets for Saturday Evening to watch the comp and the Lucas show
Anyone want to hook up - and if so how? We could meet for a drink before in the lobby...
Wahoo!!

I heard on the weekend that the entries are lean this year.

No. Too expensive to go and watch, especially if there are not that many entries. Some people are worried about the competitions being able to survive.

just got back (30 min ago) and what a wonderful weekend - with the comp last night as the highlight.
Pierre Allaire and Mireille Vielleux hosted the most pleasurable competition - the sat evening was totally sold out and with quite a number of late entries. While it was dissappointing that Luca and Lorraine could not come (due to a death in Lorraine's family) the showcase by Arunas Bizokas & Katusha Demidova was a terrific replacement - I sat at one end of the ballroom in great position to take a few pictures.
I will try to fill in some scores here a bit later.
Sorry I did not get to run into any PDO members - were any of you there?

And here's the competition itself in the lovely ballroom of the Montreal Hilton Bonaventure:

Glad there were a lot of late entries. How were the entries for Pre-Champ, Champ in standard and latin?

Yes, I was there. My sister surprised me by finally came to a comp to see me compete so I was busy with her and unable to look for you in the crowd although I think that I spotted you at one point.
I will totally agree with you on the Fantastic professional show! My seat was in the risers and this is the perfect place to be to fully appreciate ballroom dancing at its best.
