Thats true for all nationalities of crab - its also the very essence of Canada, one should not attempt to rise above one's station.  I suppose its a vestige of colonialism....  Its funny, cause thats exactly the analogy (the bucket of crabs) that I use trying to describe society here...

in the Caymans the crabs are so horn-y that if a car drives over them their horns pop the tires. they are big and scary looking walking rocks. but it was cool to see something different than a chesapeake bay blue crab ...which are yummy to eat steamed with old bay seasoning.

Seafood addict here (well, a GOOD seafood addict, I refuse to eat it where I live), and especially love crab!
