Vaseline - you are supposed to put it in your mouth to stop drying and guys use it to stop their patent leather shoes from sticking to each other - but in reality it sits in your bag until one day it pops open and you end up with a slimy mess, usually just before a competition.

Ever tried cleaning vasline?  It was invented to resist solvents....

you do not want to tip the head backwards to get the chin up ... which is why the pencil idea sort of works -

Used it in my hair once for a costume party.  Had to wash it with laundry detergent to get it out.   Roll Eyes
