Sigh... both of the cuts tonight were ballroom dancers... Johnathan and Asuka.
Crap...although it was probably Jonathan's time to go. I've never understood how he made the top 20.
And Melissa--ladies and gentlemen, THIS is why Latin dancers self-tan themselves to the point of Oompa Loompa-ness. *head smacky*

Brandon and Jeanette: It was sexy for sure, but they were both very stiff through the body. And Brandon's feet were a mile apart during those hip twists. Her turns weren't as strong as I thought they'd be, either. I like the cut and color of the dress, but I think it would work better with fringe instead of paillettes.

Yeah, I thought it was decent, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Nigel did.

Quickstep: It wasn't terrible! No, seriously...it was pretty darn good! They kept the frame well and weren't hoppy or rough at all. I actually think that's the best Smooth/Standard dance we've seen from non-ballroom dancers on the show. And I totally want that dress!

they are showing the American one in Australia at the moment I don't know how far into it it is currently, but one couple did a samba and another a foxtrot. they both did a good job, the samba was better....but they are all very dynamic dancers

So, um, yeah. Jeanine and Jason's routine (contemporary by Travis Wall) was pretty damn personal for me. That was a bit uncomfortable for me to watch...

This is how uninterested I am in this show this season: I totally forgot it was on for the first half hour of the broadcast.

I saw the auditions for this season before I moved and between all of that hubbub and such, I keep missing the episodes. Are there any routines I should be checking out? Is Evan still in? I loved him last season and I was so thrilled to see him and his brother auditioning this season - I hope his brother tries out again.
