yes it is good that they have done well, we are so far away from joining in international competition. I know that each trip we have to Europe airfares and spending money for 4 weeks is a $10,000 experience

$10000 ..... that could buy me 400 private lessons.
If we take 1 private lesson a week as we do now, $10000 will last us 7.69 years!

good friends of ours came 100th in the rising star and 126th in the Amateur competition - a bit improvement over last year - mummsie

well congratulations to them, one day the Aussies will be the power house of Blackpool, but it is a numbers game and experience....It has been doen before, I am sure we can do it again.

I think that Mathew Rooke and Anna Longmore are going to be the best that I know, I am not sure if Michael Glickman and Marlena  are going but the are also very good. perhaps SW may know of others that would go

Yes Liam and Lenae will be dancing at Blackpool this year. They're so excited about it and so am I . They're not expecting anything other than to enjoy the experience and to see some wonderful dancing. Wish I could be there to watch, but I'll be there in 2011 for sure. Lenae's Mum will be there, lucky thing! I am going over later this year and they've told me that they'll make sure I see them in a comp while I'm there. I can't wait to see the improvement in their dancing.
