going to practice now...so all adds up to our hours. having said that this week I am tired....but we have our first interstate comp in 9 days, so need to keep up the practice.

currently for our new vouge I dont think we have practiced enough...so we will concentrate on it this week. less than a week to go to our next comp

Sorry, I put in the 20+, as that is what I did when I competed.

We had 3-4 lessons a day 5 days a week. I did 1-2 hours of dance drills in the morning before my teacher and partner would turn up in the studio. Then 1-2 hour with my partner during the day time, where we went through technical issues. We did 2 hour in the evening of dancing with no stopping. We did that 6 days a week. That made it more then 20 hour a week.

Wow, I actually never really counted it out. Boy I was a little OTT also back then. Wink   I guess I was a full time dancer. Wink Grin

lol, dora.

i think we are a little bit different here. i can say a different school.  Wink

i practiced with my ex DP 3-4 hours a day, 7 days a week. or without a weekend because of the competitions.

if we had a big competition, like a cup or a championship that will jump up to 6-7 hours a day.  Grin how many private lessons a week - i don't know. sometimes 5, sometimes 10, sometimes more (depends what we are preparing).
mostly when we had coaching with a coach from england or italy or slovenia, we had more hours the same day, or when we went there.
