my bump in the night is called Nora - she's taken to wailing.  Poor old girl is beyond training so all I can do is get up and comfort her.
Yup, I'm well on the way to becoming a crazy old cat lady Tongue

Amazing how you can love someone and want to throttle them simultaneously, all in one middle of the night bump in the night moment.

having been away and put my cat, Queacle, into a cat motel, she was delighted to be back home..

so much so she has discovered she can wake me up by mewling outside my bedroom window - it has a single glass door. she thought 5.45 was a good time for her breakfast...! Tongue Wink Grin

then after I obliged she snuggled up to my pillow with paws next to my nose... Smiley

I woke up at 4 - with no bumps, just the end of a sweet sleep.
I lit a candle for her and I played a song my mother taught me as a child, Geshem - meaning rain, at the time she was cremated (in Germany).

Even though I was alone it was peaceful and lovely.

catsoon?  That's hilarious ... to outsiders.  I can imagine it's not all that funny, when it's happening to you, though. *shrug*

I, OTOH, had a completely bump-free night.  Slept like a log and had deeply happy dreams.  So unusual that I feel like celebrating. Smiley

I'm sure she'll find a way to be disruptive, 'cause that's what cats do.  They have to remind you who's boss.  Grin
