You know all those great sayings about life...like "learn by mistake" "practise makes perfect" etc etc
So let's hear them on your personal experience.

What is the great saying? What's YOUR great doing?

To start off things

"Learn by mistake".....my experience, there's never been anything in the lab I get right in the first run. I always make some sort of mistake/error when I first run a technique, and the next time and so forth I get them right.

Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak … sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go

”We need a witness to our lives.  There's a billion people on the planet, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything.  The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things, all of it, all of the time, every day. "

I think it was Homer Simpson that said you fail only if you quit trying.  Then again he also said, if you don't succeed the first time, just give up 'cause there's no sense making a fool out of yourself.

My personal favorite and words I live by are, "be the change you want to see in the world".  Too many examples as to how well that works but the simplest almost sure fire way to test the theory: if I want to see more smiling faces around me all I have to do is smile at those who see me and voila: result!

It is more important who they are as people and only then is it important who they are as dancers.~Marcia Haydee
