Went to a nice wedding of some of our dancing friends.  Lots of dancing types present, but the show-off stuff was limited by the postage-stamp-sized dance floor, and the drunken Russians.   Grin  Nonetheless, a good time.

Was out our first major comp  (Saturday was a baby comp) really enjoyed it, was nerve racking but I am sure that will get better, we have some photos and video and can see all the things we were not meant to do.. Got to meet WaltzElf from DF, told him about this and he will come and take a look when he is back in his home state.

He did a really good job on the floor also.

Surflice to say we were not put off and will be back on the floor as soon as we can Smiley

congrats you two.  The first one is an awesome challenge - but it just gets easier.  Eventually you will be the best dancers on the floor and if you don't win the people with the problem will be the judges Wink  Trust me, its a great state to get to Smiley

Oh yeah...last night I went out with a group of friends to celebrate three borthdays (my own included).  We started off with dinner at a moroccan restaurant with a belly dancing show.  From there, we went out for stand up comedy, then ultimately ended up at a salsa club to wind out the night.  It was a fantastic time!

Tonight I watched Easter Parade (one of my favourite movies and very apropos) and I'm slowly trying to find the oomph I need to pack for my two week road trip that begins tomorrow morning.
