my parents met at a dance years ago...but mum started again till her health declined, she is hoping to go back to it once she has had her op....but we will wait and see. Dancing for the elderly is great exercise and great for the mind..so many benefits

no one in my family dances, i tried to get them into it, but they allll hated it....i dunno why?? who could hate ballroom??

I guess it depends on what you mean by dancing -- random bopping around to music or studying some form of dance.

If the former,everybody does.If the latter, nobody but me.*sigh*

no-one in my family does dancing. My mother did before she died in 2009, she loved it and only got to see me do one competition, I have it on video and cant watch it without crying even after all this time....she is greatly missed and believe she would be very proud of our results.

I think about that when I watch the video of my parents dancing together the first time in public at the their 60th wedding anniversary dinner.
