I would suggest going some place where there are men, and preferably live music (engineering school cafe, perhaps) and present a seemingly impromtu (no costumes- jeans and a t-shirt or whatever is appropriate, albeit with dance shoes) dance while one or two others walk around handing flyers and answering questions.  If you're feeling up to it convince one or two guys to try and learn a basic step right there.
