I will start. We have a website here called mydancingdays.com it is pretty basic but it gives a list of the dances being held and teacher register. Paul Biddle who has been dancing with Sharee Holly have moved back to South Australia and starting dance now.
This is good, most of the dance providers are older and I am sure they would be considering retiring soon. He does have a dance soon so will go and give it a try...I just hope that there are not too many different types of NV dances....Otherwise you tend to sit out too many dances.
If I hear of anything else I will post it.

This week-end there will be a local comp Dance festival I think it is called...it will be our second local competition, not sure how many competitors there will be but have been assured that we are not on the floor alone, which is good. If we can I would like to earns some points so we can elevate out of level 1, that way there does not have to be the dress changes during the day. But if it does no happen it wont matter we are still out to gain further experience. Will give a report after the event, runs from 1.00-7.30

Our next big event in SA will be our State Titles at the end of August, we are currently learning new routines since we elevated to level 3 for standard. We have a Night of the starts in a few weeks that we could have gone in but we dont have a tango yet for our Standard, could have done NV but thought we will wait till next year when we have both styles under out belt.

Next week we have Night of the Stars...which is a big event locally. Adam Blakely and partner will be putting on a floor show. Competitors are having a friendly competition. we cant do a Tango so we cant go in all the styles so something we will hope to do next year.
It has a good mix of Social and Comp Dancing.

We our our State Championships happening this week-end, It will be interesting to see how many will be participating, dancing in our state is struggling on the competitor numbers. I am trying to get the association to do something about promoting. We need new blood!
