We wont be in Melbourne until Crown next year...interstate comps aren't that big for us because they cost lots of money and we are only medallist. Elevation is automatic...

Do you? Not much of a challenge if that is the case. I feel that the point system is much more of a competition for participants. At the Vic Open there were about 90 medalist in all styles so thats why it would be more of a challenge to see if you can have a win at larger competitions. You won't have that in SA I know it cost a bit but to attend 2 or 3 interstate does give you a bit of a feeling if what you do is on a upward trend. |

Speaking of interstate comps, I think there's one competition in Qld and another one in NSW which are either 1 or 2 week apart in November. So we're planning a long road trip up Qld/NSW in november and stop by to compete in those comps!  Bring on freedom! We'll have finished Uni by then! |

Do you? Not much of a challenge if that is the case. I feel that the point system is much more of a competition for participants. It does pressure you to get better quickly though. After one year in bronze you move up to silver ragardless of whether you are ready or not. Same as with Silver. You stay in Gold for as long as you want before going registered though. |
