bunch of questions from a newbie #4 - how to maintain the curve in a spin turn?

Hi All,

Question #4

4. When I do the spin turn, my back, is suppose to curve back for the spin but because my partner's hand is on my back of my shoulder i feel like i have to fight to curve, but his hand is suppose to be there, how do i keep the curve easier?

Hmm....I'm not sure about the curving of spine thing.

Don't overextend in either direction... don't lean back and don't collapse forward. maintain your shape and keep your self to the left. You will feel lighter and the turn will be easier.

Be careful not to band back too much, your should stretch upward and leftward, not backweighted. Also it's possible that  your partner hold you too tight (no space on his right side), this could cause you feel you need to fight.

typically a man's hold should be almost feather weight, make sure he is not physically moving you around by applying pressure.
